YCC 571 is a 7 story condominium located at 915 & 921 Midland Avenue in Scarborough, Ontario. Pin hole leaks were developing in their hot water piping system and Pipe Shield was selected to line selected risers on a trial basis. There were approximately 3 hot water risers that were lined with the Pipe Shield Lining System. The risers were subsequently removed for analysis and the coated piping proved to be in excellent condition with a smooth bore with no drooping of material. Several sections of lined piping with existing pin hole leaks that had been previously clamped were tested to 300 psi with the clamps removed and no leaks developed.
